Sarah Brooks has a Masters of Acupuncture from the Institute of Taoist Education and Acupuncture in Louisville, Colorado. She has over 5 years of formal training in acupuncture school, a certification in zero balancing, two certifications through path, intl. for teaching therapeutic horsemanship, and is a apex barefoot hoof trimmer.
 

Before acupuncture school, Sarah attended Emerson College, Pine Manor College, and Maharishi University of Management. She conducted research at Dana-Farber Cancer Institute and Harvard Medical School. She was headed to medical school in Boston, and after experiencing profound personal benefits with alternative medicine, she decided to lead a career in acupuncture, body work, and energy medicine.

Sarah has a current license to practice acupuncture in Hawaii, #1180, and is one of the only certified Five-Element Acupuncturists in the state. She is also certified through the National Certification Commission for Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine (NCCAOM). She is insured through the American Acupuncture Council.
